This shoot is from the latest issue of Russh Magazine shot by Tung Walsh, styling by Azza Yousif, hair by Cyril Laloue, manicure by Imarni & featuring the stunning Gem and using all MAC Cosmetics. To keep the look a bit alien and strong I decided to bleach the brows and then to create depth around the eyes. For a naturally flawless base I focused on skincare using Studio Moisture Cream as a rich moisturising treatment massaged into the skin with Fast Response Eye Cream used around the eyes to diminish dark circles. As minimal coverage was needed I used Studio Moisture Tint SPF 15 for a light base with the Pro Conceal & Correct Palette in Light for any small blemishes and setting with Select Sheer Loose Powder in the tzone. For a warm brown shade under the eyes I buffed in Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Indianwood along the lower lash line and then used Eye Shadow in Brule over the entire lid with Eye Shadow in Copperplate through the socket. Lashes were left uncurled and Extended Play Gigablack Lash Mascara used on the top only. For the highlight on the cheekbones I buffed in Irridescent Loose Powder in Silver Dusk for a high shine finish and the nude matte lip was created with Lip Pencil in Stripdown penciled in and blotted off with a tissue. I also had some fun with a couple of crystals on the cheekbones for one of the shots, picked up on a recent trip to Mantova at the delightfully named Mary Poppins shop selling all kinds of embellishments & haberdashery. But my favourite part was full on glitter face. Working very quickly I used Duo Adhesive all over the face and then sprinkled on Silver 3D Glitter making sure to keep out of the hair line and keep it clean along the jawbone. We were finding glitter for days afterwards but the result was totally worth it.
