This shoot is from the latest issue of 032C shot by Katja Rahlwes featuring Sam Rollinson, styling by Mel Ottenberg & hair by Christian Eberhard. For the makeup I kept Sam clean and fresh faced for some of the shots and others I went with a punk feeling inspired by the amazing Nina Hagen. As Sam has incredible skin I didn’t use any base as I wanted the look to feel modern so instead I gave an intensive facial using Aesop Fabulous Face Oil to make the skin glow. I then added Weleda Skin Food for extra moisture and Fresh Rose Hydrating Gel Eye Cream to soothe around the eyes. For Look 1 I wanted a soft wash of colour on the eyelid so I used Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Eyeshadow in Galaxy for a hint of shimmer, left the lashes bare and added a warm contour with Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate 01. Lips were hydrated with Jurlique Love Balm. With look 2 I kept the eyes the same but added a purple blended line along the lower lashes using KIKO Water Eyeshadow in 222 Orchid Purple. With look 3 I brought in a graphic element using MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack to create a dramatic pulled out line and then used Lipstick Queen Nude Metal on the lips for a strange yet beautiful sheen. For Look 4 I started with Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Tuxedo all over the eyelid in a winged shape before adding Make Up Forever Aqua Cream in Emerald for a vivid shock of green through the crease and in the inner corners. On the lips I created a nude base with Estee Lauder Pure Colour Envy Lipstick in Eccentric and then brushed over with MAC Pigment in Melon. With look 6 I again created a winged out black liner with MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack but then also used Shiseido Smoothing Eyeliner Pencil along the bottom lower lashes to add definition. In the inner corners of the eyes I pressed Shu Uemura Eyeshadow in Pastel Blue and on the lips it was Tom Ford Lip Colour in Wild Ginger for a pop of orange. Look 7 I kept the same eyes however I switched up the lip using Topshop Lips in Armour. For Look 8 & 9 I wanted an iridescence on the eyelid as well as a graphic shape so I used NARS Eye Paint in Baalbek across the eyelid in a rough shape and under the lower lash line. Finally with look 8 I kept the face super clean with just a small amount of Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Eyeshadow in Ash in the inner corners and MAC Pigment in Kitchmas brushed onto the lips over Creme de la Mer The Lip Balm.
