This is my latest shoot from the Vogue Paris December issue shot by Ben Hassett featuring Julia Van Os with hair by Christian Eberhard, styling by Claire Dhelens and manicure by Elsa Deslandes. I wanted to create a makeup that felt grown up and seductive with everything blending seamlessly into the skin. To prep I started with a facial massage using Creme de la Mer The Renewal Oil to make the skin really glow and then exfoliated lips and hydrated with This Works Turbo Balm. To keep the glow in the skin from the massage I skipped on foundation and simply buffed in Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer around the nose to cover any redness after blotting skin thoroughly with a tissue and used Clarins Instant Light Brush On Perfector to conceal any dark circles. For this makeup I worked with creams to get that seamless blend of the product into the skin so on the eyes I used RMS Eye Polish in Karma winging it out at the sides for a feline look and then loaded up the lashes with Guerlain Maxi Lash Mascara. Cheeks were lightly sculpted with Becca Low Light Sculpting Perfector using the palms of my hands to really push the product under the cheekbones and into the skin. For the lips I wanted almost a rusty shade with a satin finish to echo the dampness of the skin so I used Tom Ford Lip Colour in So Vain. Finally for the glow on the skin I used my fingers to press on MAC Strobe Cream onto the cheekbones, cupids bow & bridge of the nose.
