This shoot is of the gorgeous Malaika Firth by Katja Rahlwes for the February 2016 issue of Vogue Paris styled by Celia Azoulay and hair by Martin Cullen. For this shoot I wanted to keep Malaika feeling fresh and youthful with glowing skin and fluttery lashes. I started with a facial massage using Sisley Black Rose Precious Face Oil to boost circulation and soothed under eye with Eve Lom Eye Lift to de puff and hydrate. For that effortless base I used a soft buffing brush with the new Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Foundation so that there was a seamless blend with the skin and then concealed where necessary with MAC Pro Conceal And Correct Palette, for a natural matte tzone I lightly dusted with Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. For a bit of definition around the lash line I used the medium tone from Tom Ford Eye Colour Quad in Cocoa Mirage, applying with an angled brush before smudging it a bit with my fingertip. Guerlain Cils D’Enfer Maxi Lash Mascara was layered on top and bottom lashes and combed through with a clean mascara wand for a soft, defined look. Brows were brushed and defined with Estee Lauder Brow Now and lips filled in with NARS Velvet Lip Pencil in Waimea before being hydrated with a hint a shine with DHC Lip Cream.
