This exhibition couldn’t come at a better time, Robert Rauschenberg was an extraordinary American pop artist who’s work incorporated any experience and material he encountered from from Kennedy to the pavement. The first full scale retrospective since his death in 2008 this is definitely worth seeing.
Dance is such a beautiful art form and this exhibition at the Louvre looks at the relation between more static art pieces and the movement of dance which is represented in them. With input from acclaimed choreographer Benjamin Millipied this promises to be a beautiful curation.
Last year I had the greatest pleasure of working with the incredible Nan Goldin. Head to MOMA until April to see her series of almost 700 snapshot portraits The Ballad of Sexual Dependency set to an evocative music soundtrack. Not to be missed.
