I am obsessed with the new buzz word in beauty. BB Creams. They stand for Beauty Balm Creams. They are basically a cream that has a little coverage, hydrates, illuminates your skin & contains minerals & all the other good stuff. Make-up that not only make your skin look good on the outside but is good for your skin too. About time! This is a beauty shoot from Vogue China the feature being gorgeous glowing skin that I did makeup for with the beautiful model Liu Wen and shot by the legend that is Mr Hans Feurer & styled by the lovely Anne Christensen. Hair is by Ward Stegerhoek and we were lucky to be in amazing Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I wanted the skin to be natural and glowing and fresh. Liu Wen is stunning & has amazing skin but we could all do with a little help for a beauty shot so the BB cream is ideal and I apply it using my fingers. I have tried & love Estee Lauder (yup, I have it in my own personal makeup bag) I also love the M.A.C & Smashbox & a very affordable one is by Garnier. I think BB creams are a great easy to use product for all ages and skin textures and they come in different shades so good for all tones but those with blemishes may need to add concealer. I think BB creams are going to be a holiday must have. Top Tip: I like warming this product up in my hands to activate the ingredients and apply with my fingers on to a cleansed face.
