In the last few years I have really noticed how popular nail art is everywhere from street style, red carpet to shoots & shows. I love this fun beauty trend and long may it last. I am fortunate to work with some incredible technicians that can do anything on a nail bed or falsie. It is amazing to see these artists work, like fine artists working on miniature master pieces. Salons & pop ups are springing up all over & Wah Nails is the recent pioneer of young cool nails salons with full on affordable nail art now even in Top Shop Check out some of the session nail gurus out there with Nail Porn from nail mogul Sophy Robson & also fashion & celebrity manicurist Jenny Longworth & not to mention new kid on the block Rebecca Jade Wilson. All of these gals know how to give good polish. Here are the colours that I have invested in for Summer 12: Top Shop Nice N Neutral is the perfect modern nude. Chanel Holiday is a hot tomale pop of colour & I love Essie’s Exotic Liras which is a deep fuschia and has a 70’s YSL feel about it. In the meantime I wait for the futuristic pen as seen in Total Recall (above) that changes nail colour in an instant to be on the market, perfect for the impatient amongst us. If that ever comes out I will be first in line.
