I have recently had the privilege of working with the amazing Kylie Minogue who has the most exquisite face for makeup, here are the covers for both her new single ‘Into The Blue’ and also her new album ‘Kiss Me Once’ shot by William Baker and hair by Malcolm Edwards. For both looks I used all MAC Cosmetics. To prep the skin I cleansed with Mineralize Charged Water Cleanser and then gave a mini facial using Careblend Essential Oils, sealing in the moisture with Studio Moisture Cream and taking down any puffiness around the eyes with Fast Response Eye Cream. Lips were scrubbed with a toothbrush to boost circulation and moisturised with Lip Conditioner. For a light but flawless base I used Face & Body, concealing under the eyes with Prep & Prime Highlighter in Bright Forecast and Radiant Rose to brighten and then used the Pro Conceal & Correct Palette where needed. A light application of Blot Powder in the t-zone kept away any unwanted shine. For the first look I created a classic beauty with a strong black liquid liner and glossy red lips. For the perfect flicked liner I used Fluidline in Blacktrack with a small detail artists brush. Lashes were curled again and for more volume I used Opulash Optimum Black Mascara. Brows were groomed and defined with Eye Brows in Lingering. I added a soft contour to cheeks using Contour Cream in Coffee Walnut then a highlight with Strobe Cream and Irridescent Loose Powder in Silver Dusk. For a true red lip I outlined and defined with Lip Pencil in Cherry then filled in with Lipstick in Ruby Woo before adding a glossy coat of Clear Lipglass. For the second look I wanted to create a glowing skin with peach and golden tones. I layered across the cheekbones and temples with Lustre Drops in Sun Rush and Pink Rebel , buffing them into skin to add a highlight. For the eyes I used a mix of Pigments in Blondes Gold, Tan & Melon to add depth. For fluttery lashes I curled the eyelashes multiple times before adding coats of Haute & Naughty Mascara and then Individual Lashes . Lips were kept a matte peachy pink using Lipstick in Please Me and finally shoulders, collarbones and legs were dusted with Irridescent Loose Powder in Silver Dusk.
