I love a good mask in all forms be it a future-tastic sheet you stick over your face or back to basics weird goo that you slather all over. If it gives me 10 minutes to sit back and relax whilst giving my skin some goodness I’m all in. In particular a good mud mask should always be in your beauty arsenal as it really provides deep extration for your pores yet leaves your skin unbelivably soft and smooth. Even if you have dry skin I’d recommend a mud mask every two weeks just to make sure you’re getting all the crap out. The current mud masks to end all mud masks has to be Glam Glow as you can use it all over or an on the spot treatment, you literally see all the nasty stuff being pulled from your skin as it dries, it’s amazing. I love the Wei Golden Root Purifying Mud Mask not only for its beauty benefits but the fact that it comes with a brush to apply it, artistry heaven. Also whilst we’re in fancy skincare the Chantecaille Detox Clay Mask will leave your skin heavenly soft and purified and feels decadent. Now if you want to stay really organic that’s not too hard an ask with a mud mask, try Dr Organic Dead Sea Mineral Bio-Plasma Mud Mask which cleanses but all stimulates cell renewal. Finally I have to mention the Motagne Jeunesse, those little single use packs you see everywhere from Superdrug to Tesco. They may be small and cheap but they are not to be ignored, the Dead Sea Mud Pac is worth a try for anyone.
