This shoot is from the February issue of Vogue Paris and features Julia Van Os having pretty much everything put on her face. Shot by Ben Hasset, styling by Claire Dhelens and hair by Christian Eberhard I created four extreme beauty looks using products from M.A.C Cosmetics. For the first look we played with light on the face so I started by doing a facial with Lightful C Marine-Bright Formula Essence for a super hydrated base with Fast Response Eye Cream around the eyes and Lip Conditioner on the lips. For a base that felt completely natural I buffed in Studio Waterweight SPF30 Foundation for a seamless blend with the skin. To conceal slight shadows under the eyes I used Prep + Prime Highlighter in Bright Forecast and then covered any redness around the nose with Matchmaster Concealer. Following on from this I worked with a mixture of Paint Sticks and Cream Colour Bases to create the paint palette face using my fingers to smear on the product. For the powder paint look I started with a clean simple base as before and then used Lipstick in Strength for a neutral brown frost on the lips before throwing matte Pigment onto the face for a spattered look. Finally for the last look I used Mineralize Eyeshadow in Blue Flame & Young Punk on each eye before layering Haute & Naughty Too Black Lash Mascara for thick, spiky lashes and finally slathering on Complete Comfort Cream for a thick white mask.
