With the importance placed on social media now and the way that it dominates the way that young women perceive themselves it’s pretty upsetting when a trend like this comes up, the A4 Waist Challenge originating in China. Yes I get it some people are naturally thin and will be able to hide their waists behind a sheet of A4 people but most people aren’t and it is not viable for grown women to aspire to this. Like when the waist trainer came into fashion last year it’s like a return to Victorian times and corsets. Moving your internal organs around to look good in a selfie isn’t a life goal people and neither is trying to fit behind a sheet of paper.
