This shoot is from the November issue of Vogue Japan and features the stunning Anna Ewers shot by Ezra Petronio, styling by Sissy Vian, hair by Yannick D’Is and nails by Christina Conrad. The makeup for this shoot was high impact glamour with a strong, punk vibe. To start with I wanted to create super hydrated skin so I massaged with Creme de la Mer The Renewal Oil and then sealed in the moisture with By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Primer to give a smooth base to foundation. For naturally flawless skin I worked with Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua applied with a damp sponge to blend and then concealed where necessary with Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage. To sculpt the face I used Tom Ford Skin Illuminating Powder Duo and lightly dusted Shiseido Translucent Loose Powder in the tzone to mattify. For a bold, graphic black eyeshadow I used MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack with a brush in a straight line outward towards the temple and then layered up on Diorshow mascara. Finally for a bold red lip I outlined with MAC Lip Pencil in Ruby Woo and then added YSL Rouge Pur Couture in Rouge Neon for impact.
