I love a pricey makeup product because usually they just are the ones that create amazing results whilst looking fancy on your dresser or you feel a bit smug when you pull out a Chanel lipstick in the ladies bathroom. But it’s not all about that and you might not be swimming in cash like Beyonce. I like a beauty product that really just gets the job done no matter where it comes from so I wanted to a little round up of some of my high street gems. First up &OtherStories, I’v had their Cheek & Lip Tint in my kit for ages as its really that good. I love Guipure Apricot for that Chloe girl glow or Kick Pleat Red for a hit of colour. Next is Topshop, their makeup range is actually really quite good and there are a umber of products I could talk about but in particular is the Chameleon Glow Eyeshadow. You’re basically getting two shades for the price of one and is perfect for summer when you don’t want to bee too sparkly. Whilst you’re in Topshop check out the BeautyMart section. Here you can pretty much buy everything, I am always finding something amazing there. Maybelline is something most of us grew up on and their mascara’s have always been banging, whether you like a teeny brush that stretches out every lash (Illegal length Mascara) or something fluffier for real oomph (Volume Express Mega Plush) there is a mascara there for you. However if it’s colour you are after you can’t beat the KIKO Super Colour Mascara. Liquid Lipstick has been everywhere and there are many lining the aisles of Superdrug but try NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream. It stays, it’s matte but it’s not sat on your lips like superglue. Finally, this is a recent find but dammit it’s great, The Body Shop Honey Bronze Drops Of Sun. Add to your moisturiser or foundation for an instant bit of summer without any shimmer.
