Here is a shoot I did a while ago with supermodel Isabeli Fontana photographed by David Dunan and used 3 sets of false Lashes layered on top of each other black and silver tinsel lashes. I love false lashes. I buy them everywhere and anywhere from shops to market stalls and each country normally has its own brand. I love cheap lashes and I love expensive lashes. I love real hair lashes and I love synthetic lashes. I love strips, clusters, individual, single, black, brown, metallic, neon and in short long and medium. All freelance makeup artists will have a mix of brands in their kits. Here are the brands that I use all the time and vary in price range: Shu Uemura M.A.C Cosmetics Screenface Rickys Makeup Forever Illamsqua When I was working with Ms Jennifer Lopez, she asked me to use on her a brand called Red Cherry as she loves them. They give a thickness and fullness that look natural on stage, tv and good for shoots too. I always use Duo glue in clear as the adhesive I like the best. Top tip for getting lashes to be more flexible and for easy placement and use is take them out of their packaging and place them adhesive strip side down on something round ( when I have time to follow my own advice, I use a wooden rolling pin) I find it loosens them up a bit and they become a better more pliable shape and this makes all the difference for perfect application. Get them on and Get Winking.
