Here is my first attempt at directing a Fashion Film for Felder Felder. The designers are my friends & colleagues whose show I have designed the makeup for since they were at Central St Martins College. All cast and crew kindly and patiently worked for free and Luke Foy did casting. We shot it in one day on & around Portobello Road on a busy Saturday market day. My D.O.P was the very experienced Mr Sam Brown. Ed Enayat edited & graded the film for me. He is so talented & dedicated & I loved going in to see him in his edit suite in Soho to discuss the latest edits and drink tea & eat cakes from Patisserie Valerie . Kate Lindsey my former first assistant & dear pal headed the makeup for me with a phenomenal M.A.C Cosmetics show team using all M.A.C. The lovely super brilliant Ali Pirzadeh did the hair. The hilarious, razor sharp Becky Corbin Murray styled the collection & the legend that is Arthur Baker did the music with Mr Alan Vega from Suicide, I am one lucky gal! I am looking forward to more upcoming directing projects. I hope you enjoy this.
