Last night I watched Sidney Lumet’s 80’s classic Running On Empty. It is such a brilliant moving, well written & beautiful film. I have to say that I am starting my SS13 research for the shows and I am so inspired by Martha Plimpton in this film. She looks great in every scene and is such a quirky beauty. I covet her entire wardrobe. Everyone talks about Johnny & Kate, Serge & Jane or Sid & Nancy but I think River & Martha are most definitely in my top couples list.
