As a major fan of both the radio & the Golden Age of Hollywood I was delighted when I came across the BBC’s Radio Archive Interviews With Stars of the Golden Age of American cinema. I am also intrigued by the story of silver screen beauty and super brain Hedy Lamarr who was also a great inventor and along with composer George Antheil in 1942 patented what they called the “Secret Communication System” to try and defeat Hitler & actually discovered wifi radio and “frequency hopping” as we still call it today.
