The Gentlewoman fashion story photographed by Katja Rahlwes, styled by Jodie Barnes, Hair by Alessandro Rebbecchi & our model is Loulou. It was a night shoot in the streets of gay Paree, so many freaks were out on the streets that night and not just us! For skin care & makeup I used all Tom Ford Beauty. I used the traceless foundation stick & patted the Illuminating Primer over the foundation in highlight areas for that silver screen magical skin, that I’m sure by now you know I love to bring a cinematic touch to my work always keeping the woman beautiful whilst adding mega glamour. I used shade & illuminate to contour & highlight setting it with a light dusting of translucent powder concentrated on the t zone. The brows are combed & I created smoky blown out eyes in purple using the crushed amethyst eye quad or in some shots a brown using cocoa mirage eye quad & added a lot of the extreme mascara, I do really mean a lot and wiggled that brush at the root for extra volume & a va va voom lift. The lips are just red red red glossy gorgeousness & I used Scarlet Rouge and Cherry Lush with a clear gloss on top. The last 3 images above were my beauty references & are typical of the type of maximalist eternally chic glamour that I love. Drum roll please: We have Paloma Picasso, A Robert Palmer Addicted to Love video girl and Isabella Rossellini as Lisal in Death Becomes Her. Please check out this blog and tell me I don’t share all the good stuff?! http://friendsofleisl.tumblr.com/

Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme oof
this website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s
very hard to get hat “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appearance.
I must say you’ve done a great job with this. In addition, the blog
loads very fast for mee on Chrome. Excellent Blog!
