Here is a new story from M Le Monde shot by Nick Dorey, styling Marine Chaumien, hair Tomohiro Ohashi & model Kat Hessen. This makeup is a very now girl who would be influenced by both the Helmut Newton woman or a cool 90’s grunge gal, the focus for the beauty was both the hair and the dark eye. I created a clean minimal skin giving the skin a massaging facial with African Botanics Pure Marula Oil before sealing in moisture with Balance Me Balancing Face Moisturiser. A light base was created with Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint and then highlighted on the cheekbones with NARS The Multiple in Luxor to feel fresh. I used MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack with a soft & fluffy but quite small brush to sketch a shape that I liked and suited the eye on the top of the eyelid. As it was drying I used my finger to push in a metallic black shadow such as Illamasqua Pure Pigment in Android to add intensity, depth and some sparkly shine in the centre of the lid. I then used a small angled brush to run the shadow along the lower eye line close to the lashes. The eyebrows were totally ignored, just combed, and mega curled fluttery lashes achieved by many coats of Estee Lauder Magnascopic Mascara in Black on top and bottom lashes. For the lips I exfoliated first with Kiko Scrub & Peel Wipes to boost circulation and enhance the natural colour before adding Bobbi Brown Extra Soothing Balm for moisture. Finally just a light dusting of By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder in the tzone kept off the shine where needed.
