These images are from the May 2013 issue of Harper’s Bazaar USA showcasing the best of the Couture collections photographed by Katja Rahwles, styled by Jodie Barnes and hair by Nicolas Jurnjack with the beautiful model Sui He. This was shot on the streets of Paris both day and night at famous locations and inside the former stock exchange of Paris where we felt the ghosts of past bankers and traders. The clothes were just exquisite and I truly appreciate the skill, hours and time that go in to producing each garment and I can almost imagine what owning couture must feel like. The makeup was kept matte on the skin using Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation and MAC’s Prep & Prime Transparent Finishing Powder with defined brows which I created using Chanel’s Sculpting Brow Pencil. Eyes were lightly defined and I used MAC Sculpting Cream in Coffee Walnut to add a contour to the cheeks paring this with either a nude lip such as Tom Ford in Blush Nude or for a red lip try NARS’ Semi Matte Lipstick in Jungle Red. This is classic beauty that never dates as every woman looks beautiful like this.
