This shoot is from the latest issue of H&M Magazine and was shot by photographer Katja Rahwles, stylist Geraldine Saglio and hair by Seb Bascle with our gorgeous model Bette Franke. We were shooting all over Paris and busting out some classic old school tunes and dancing like mad in the middle of the Place de la Concorde. Makeup was either day time Parisian chic from neutrals to sometimes a soft coral eye and lip or for a bit more va va voom at night I added a red lip for drama in the city if love. Bette’s skin was prepped with a facial massage using Nuxe Huile Prodigeuse and Creme de la Mer’s Ultrarich Cream to hydrate and boost circulation and MAC Fast Response Eye Cream to diminish any puffiness. A light base was then created with YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation and YSL Touche Eclat under the eyes and around the nose to brighten, Chanel Natural Finish Pressed Powder dusted all over gave a matte yet luminous base. On the eyes for a more daytime look I alternated between Laura Mercier Illuminating Eyecolour in Fire Glow and NARS Night Series Eyeshadow in Night Star with a matching coral lip with Chanel Rouge Coco in Paradis and lashings of DiorShow BlackOut Mascara on doubly curled eyelashes for my signature defined 70’s lashes. For nighttime glamour I created a full red lip using MAC Lip Pencil in Cherry and MAC Lipstick in Russian Red for bold colour. Watch all the behind the scenes action here as well.
