For the latest issue of Self Service we shot this story of the gorgeous Malgosia Bela with photographer Andreas Larsson, stylist Ondine Azoulay & hair by Mark Hampton. The story was shot in and around London along beautiful wide streets with amazing coats mixed with sneakers and for the makeup the look was sculpted and groomed. Malgosia’s skin is flawless so I used Nuxe Huile Prodigeuse to give an oil massage to boost radiance and then used Sunday Riley’s Effortless Breathable Tinted Primer to give a light base and coverage where needed and Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat to brighten under the eyes. For a soft contour and highlighting across the cheekbones I used Tom Ford’s Shade & Illuminate Palette and then MAC’s Blot Powder to take down any unwanted shine. To really make the green colour stand out in Malgosia’s eyes I used MAC’s Extra Dimension Eyeshadow in Smoky Mauve and then later on in the day I tried KIKO’s Water Eyeshadow in Plum which has a more reddish/pink hue. I also used lashings of Diorshow Black Mascara on super curled lashes to separate and define. For the lips I switched between a simple lip balm to allow the natural lip colour to show through as well as usng MAC Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in Etcetera to shade and fill for a more nude lip.I love the cool aesthetic of this shoot and wanted every single piece of the wardrobe to come home with me, not sure it would have gone unnoticed though.

Hi Georgina! Awesome work as always… I’m writing an essay about this editorial in self service and I have to collect as much information as I could. I could only recognize one place by the picture: Grosvenor gardens, but do you remember the streets or it was all random? I’m studying Fashion Design in Spain, big fan here!
Hi Catalina,
Many thanks for your kind words, the streets were all surrounding between Ebury Square and Grosvenor Square so I’m afraid I don’t remember the exact ones however all within a 5 minute walk.
Hope this helps!
Best,
Georgina
