This shoot is from the December issue of Vogue China and features Holly May Saker shot by Camilla Akrans, styling by Martine Menthon & hair by Samantha Hillerby. We shot this on a gorgeous clifftop in the sunshine so I wanted to keep Holly looking fresh faced but with a tough element. For a clean base I used Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing Facial Oil Capsules to give a facial massage to plump the skin and boost circulation, I love these capsules as they are great for travelling with and if you are on location. This followed with La Roche Posay Effaclar Mat base to seal in the moisture but leave a natural matte finish, Nuxe Nirvanesque Eye Contour cream around the eye to de-puff and Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm to moisturise. For a super natural base I just used a little Chanel CC Cream, I love that this also contains SPF50 so was great for being outside all day. I then concealed with Bobbi Brown Concealer Kit where needed and mattified with MAC Blot Powder to take off any shine. For a tough feline look around the eyes I first lined all round the waterline with YSL Couture Kajal Pencil and then lined close to the lash line with Tom Ford Eye Definer Pen, winging it out slightly at the corners. Finally I finished off the look with a matte peach lip using Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Sorbet patted on with a fingertip for a soft finish.
