This shoot is from the April issue of Vogue Paris and is shot by Ben Hassett, styling by Geraldine Saglio, hair by Rudi Lewis and our lovely model Zuzu Tadeushuk. The shoot was all about big, bouncy, beautiful hair and I wanted the makeup to reflect the 70’s spirit with a spattering of freckles and lots of lash. To start with I gave a moisturing facial with Creme de la Mer The Regenerating Serum and left on Estee Lauder Stress Relief Eye Mask to de puff around the eyes. For a lightweight base I buffed in MAC Studio Waterweight Foundation using a damp brush and then concealed with Bobbi Brown BBU Palette. To add definition around the eyes I used a palette of warm brown shadows from Tom Ford Eye Colour Quad Cocoa Mirage before curling the lashes and adding layers of NARS Audacious Mascara to separate and define. For a couple of looks I also added some lashes with Shu Uemura Partial Flare Lash for extra flutter. To add some warmth to the cheeks I took a big fluffy brush and swirled Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel across the cheeks and into the temple before adding those freckles using two shades of Laura Mercier Brow Pencil. Finally just a slick of Nuxe Reve De Miel lip balm for naturally moisturised lips.
