So we had a mini heatwave here in the UK (usual) but most of you will be heading abroad to get your fix of sun, I get that, as everyone starts to flood out of the cities I thought I’d put together some of my summer favourites in a makeup sense. I know we all like to pretend that we are completely barefaced when we have a tan but everyone likes a little boost sometimes. First up is a good SPF, even if you are staying somewhere with temperatures barely into the twenties sun cream is always a must so I always turn to Avene Very High Protection Spray SPF50 as its so easy to apply and isn’t super greasy. If you hit the beach bar a bit too hard then you may also be in need of Bare Minerals Well Rested Face & Eye Brightener just to brighten everything up a bit, also good to keep to hand is Becca’s Beach Tint. Fig is perfect to emphasise a tan and Papaya gives a pop of colour to every skin tone. I always make sure to tint my lashes before going away as mascara in the heat is never comfortable, just give them a curl and then spritz your face with Urban Decay Chill which is a cooling and hydrating makeup setting spray to refresh your skin after a day in the sun. Finally don’t forget your body, Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Shimmering Body Oil gives a glow as well as it smells heavenly.
