Ok don’t worry, nothing I’m discussing here is as scary as this image but there is some pretty cool stuff. I love things that are a bit sci fi and new technology so I thought I’d round up some exciting new things. First up the silicone sponge. This started with bloggers using chicken fillets and condoms (yeugh) to apply their foundation so thank god there is now something more appropriate because it makes sense that a silicone sponge won’t suck up as much product and gives a smooth application. Try Silisponge, it’s for hard hitters though, not a ‘woke up like this’ finish. Next up the Color Me Automatic Foundation Applicator which uses sonic pulse technology to give a flawless finish, it literally vibrates around your face so you get a mini massage at the same time. A heated eyelash curler is nothing new but I feel like they fell out of favour a bit, try the Lash Star Heated Eyelash Curler which also comes with a USB charger and gives you a mega curl which really holds.  Finally none of this will help if you don’t have great lighting or mirror, for this I’d turn to Simple Human. All of their designs are super classic and simple and the mirrors also simulate natural daylight for the best finish.
