This shoot is from the June issue of Allure featuring Sunghee Kim shot by Ben Hassett with hair by Christian Eberhard. For this shoot everything was molten metallics shot in the water so of course it all had to be super waterproof. I wanted the skin to feel fresh and modern with a really perfect finish so I used Estee Lauder Double Wear Waterproof Concealer with a damp sponge to lightly conceal and even out skin tone without needing a full face of foundation, for luminosity I also mixed in a small amount of Tom Ford Illuminating Primer across the cheekbones and bridge of nose. For the first look I used Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Peacock and Mint Snow across the entire eyelid and then Lipstick Queen Red Metal with Hourglass Extreme Sheen Lip Gloss in Siren over the top. Brows were left bare and simply brushed into place. For the second look, I mixed up my own waterproof metallic eyeshadow by using Illamasqua Sealing Gel with MAC Pigment in Platinum and then moisturised the lips with Creme de la Mer The Lip Balm. For the third look I used a flat brush to apply Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in ACDC then ran Givenchy Kohl Couture Waterproof Eyeliner in Black under the eyes in a heavy, straight line. With the fourth look I wanted a pure copper lip so I used NARS Larger Than Life Eyeliner in Via Appia as a base instead of traditional lipliner and then went over this with Tom Ford Lip Colour in Derek. For the fifth look I wanted bold colour on the eyes so I used Make Up Forever Aqua Cream Eyeshadow in Fuschia across the eyelid and then KIKO Intense Colour Long Lasting Eyeliner in Metallic Blue under the lower lash line. Finally for the last look I created a true gold eyelid with Illamasqua Liquid Metal in Electrum.
