Every country that I visit for work or on holiday I try to find a local beauty secret. I was shooting Vogue on the street in Leblon, Rio and I discovered Granado an old family run pharmacy that has been going since 1870 and has gorgeous shops that stock many of their own lines and beautifully packaged products that use natural native ingredients such as chestnuts from the Amazon or Acai berry and I bought soaps and moisturisers and cologne and powders in bulk. My bathroom displays the entire skocking pink line which looks pretty, smells delicious and does an excellent job especiall the dry skin line. I also love the brightly coloured bottles of cologne they stock by Perfumaria Phebo and I have delicious smelling Agua de Neroli. Every time I spritz it after a bath my olfactory senses take me back to tropical balmy nights in Rio spent sipping ice cold green coconuts.
