As fashion month descends on me I mentally prepare to spend the next month packing, unpacking and then re-packing again. So my kit needs to be in peak condition of organisation, with that I mind I wanted to share some bits that keep my kit packed better than Tetris. I’m sure I’m not the first to admit it but I have a minor addiction to Muji especially when it comes to my kit. I love all the beautiful packaging that products come in and they look gorgeous on my bathroom shelf but unfortunately travelling with a load of glass foundation bottles just isn’t practical so I decant liquid foundations into Muji Flip Top Tubes and any gel/creams into the cream pots. Another Muji gem are the PP Pill Cases, use them to decant cream colours for a DIY palette that takes up a lot less space. I would love to use the Muji bags in all their chic, frosted glory but unfortunately I need to able to see shades & products at a quick glance so I stick to clear. I love new brand My Kit Co which has a great set of 3 clear bags in various sizes so you can keep organised with easy access and also the crystal pouches from MakeUp Forever. Failing either of those there is always good old M&S and their makeup bags. The joy of plastic also means if you do have that spillage its pretty easy to clean out. For home everyone has a different preference depending on their decor but I came across these Viking storage boxes the other day, I think you all know by now I love me some colour. And finally, every good organiser needs a label maker. You can go modern with the Dymo Label Manager but I do like the nostalgia of a classic Dymo Omega Embossing Label Maker. And now it’s showtime, here we go again.
