I managed to get an appointment at David Mallett salon in Paris. Hair whisperer David & his team are the peeps to go to go to in Paris & those in the know seem to know. Housed in a grand 17th century vast natural light filled apartment decorated in farrow & ball type shades of soft dove grey with gilted cornices, long wooden floorboards & photography, art, fashion books nonchalantly placed amidst beautiful furniture & a bit of casual taxidermy with wafts of the delicious smelling signature house candle relaxing me as I sat in a comfy chair sipping a tea. This is my dream home except it isn’t its a hair salon. Here they really know how to make you look & feel great by listening, suggesting & just doing beautiful, cool effortless hair which ultimately is what every gal wants. There are colourists & manicures available too. So, the cat is out of the bag, Vogue US were taking a portrait & interview while I was in there. I left with exactly the hair that I wanted.
