This shoot is from Vogue China’s Spring 2013 Collections Issue and features Lindsay Wixon shot by Katja Rahlwes, styling by Ludivine Poiblanc and hair by Rutger. We had all these amazing huge metallic balloons on set which we had a lot of fun with and looked incredible in the shots. For the make up I kept skin fresh and beautiful using Chanel Perfection Lumiere which creates a flawless, long lasting base, highlighted and contoured with my favourite Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate palette and kept off any shine with NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Powder. For eyes I went with a glamorous blown out shape using metallic creams in gold and bronze from Illamasqua, really buffing into the shape with a brush then pushing additional pigment on with my fingers for an intense high shine. I kept the brows clean and groomed to contrast my thick, defined, 70s style lashes with multiple coats of Tom Ford’s Extreme Mascara in Raven. Lindsey has the most beautiful full lips so I decided on two different colour options, the bright red Chanel in Coromandel and the soft, caramel Laura Mercier in Spiced Latte coated with MAC’s Lipglass in Clear.
