We all love makeup and would love to be assured that our favourite red lipstick or essential mascara has never even been in remote contact with any part of an animal for testing. Most regulations do now prohibit animal testing on finished cosmetics products and also on many ingredient included but I thought I would highlight some brands which are absolutely cruelty free which also seriously deliver on pigment. First up lets address our lipstick issues as that always requires serious pigment. OOC have an excellent choice of lip products whether you want a matte, gloss, metallic or stained finish and there is also every shade under the sun. As well as being cruelty free this brand also has the benefit of being 100% vegan so literally everyone can use these products. Another amazing lipstick that a friend of mine recently recommended is from British brand Lush, you know the one that assaults your senses in every train station and shopping centre? Well their Lip Tint in Santa Baby not only hydrates and conditions but leaves your lips so red you’ll be scrubbing it off before bed. Onto cheeks where my favourite at the moment is Vapour Organic Beauty, their Aura Multi Use Classic ranges from soft pink to bold coral and leaves a glowing flush. Add the Trick Stick Highlighter to tops of cheekbones and cupids bow for that extra shimmer and glow. For those of you who want a really high impact eyeshadow have a look at Sugarpill cosmetics, their pressed eyeshadows have an amazing range of matte colours in bold and neon colours. Finally your new favourite mascara, MDM Flow Greater Than Mascara is a wet, sticky formula that creates volumised and defined lashes in just one sweep.
