Some people are makeup fans, some people aren’t so whether you’re a product junkie who needs that extra makeup hit or if you’re so barefaced you prefer to express yourself in other ways there are some new options. Wear your makeup in every way other than on your face with jumpers, tshirts, bags, shoes, earrings… you name it, its there, I put together a few personal favourites to get you started though. For clothing look at MSGM’s Lipstick Sweatshirt or Carhartts illustrative tshirt, both can be matched to MAC’s Ruby Woo I reckon. You can follow this lipstick trend through and add in some accessories, try Patricia Fields Lipstick Earrings or go more minimal with Nastygals simple drop style, don’t forget shoes as Alberto Guardini has a variety of Lipstick Heels in different shades. Not quite this season but had to be mentioned, Moschino Cheap & Chic’s Autumn Winter 2012 Collection which featured coats, dresses and blouses covered in little prints of makeup compacts, lipsticks and brushes, my favourite was the leather clutch made to look like a palette. Now this isn’t strictly makeup but should be included in the roundup, Charlotte Olympia’s La Vie En Rose Perfume Clutches are a chic finish to your makeup wardrobe, dressing table, life, anywhere really.
